Syllabus

This course emphasizes fundamental Web-scripting skills and provides a comprehensive overview of the process of adding interactivity to Web pages using JavaScript. You will develop JavaScript client-side scripts while adhering to W3C and ECMA standards. You will also modify the DOM dynamically, work with events, validate forms, and store persistent data during a course-long project.

To successfully complete this course, you will be expected to:

1. Manipulate web page elements using Document Object Model (DOM).

2. Create interactive webpage functionality using JavaScript.

3. Write functional JavaScript code using current W3C and ECMA standards.

4. Communicate effectively.
