Advertising

You should select one of the following two options:

Select one major company which generates revenue with advertising (Google, Facebook + Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, etc.)

Select Google or any other company which allows you to make money with apps

Once you select one provider, review its website, go through the process of becoming its customer, and answer the following questions:

What service does it offer? How does it advertise your product or services?

How does it differentiate itself from their competitors? (Why should you select it?)

How does it price its services?

How can it help you targeting your ads? (Age, location, product line, etc.)

What statistic tools does it make available to its customers to analyze the success of their campaigns?

Does it create your campaign or just offers the medium?

Bonus: Try to go through setting up an ad campaign. How hard was it? How much would you need to pay?

Payment Systems

It you chose this approach, you must select two companies that offer a payment system for your website (Google, Apple, PayPal, MasterCard, Visa, or any other vendor). Then answer the following for each:

What services do they offer?

How do they differentiate themselves from their competitors? (Why should you use them?)

How do they price their services?

Can you use both vendors at the same time? Does it make sense to do so?

What tools do they offer to track your sales and refunds?

Do they offer fraud protection?

If you were a small business owner and if you were to choose just one, which one would you use and why?
