Activity 1: Examining Net Neutrality:
What do changes in Neutrality mean for Management of Internet Data and User Access? (20pts)
Directions: Please note that there is only one activity for this assignment because it is expected that you will need to devote more time to developing quality responses to a few questions that require complex thought and understanding of what you studied in the chapter and researched online. Complete the steps below:
1. Review chapter 7 Bits and Bytes: Net Neutrality p.262
2. View these short Videos Explaining Net Neutrality:
a. Wall Street Journal Commentary on Net Neutrality
b. Common Craft explains Net Neutrality
c. PSS News Hour FCC Agenda on Net Neutrality
3. Review these articles on changes in Net Neutraility:
a. Ray Lin Berkley Student Research on Net Neutrality

4. Time for you to do a little research and reading online. Search the web to find at least two articles on Net Neutrality that spark your interest. Be sure save the web addresses for later use.
5. Create a Word document named MyNetNeutralityReview that includes the following items:
a. Answer this question: How might the lack of Net Neutrality affect Management of Internet Data and User Access? Provide at least a few paragraphs to express your thoughts.
b. Provide Links to the web sites of the two articles that sparked your interest on the issue of Net Neutrality and explain why you found each of them interesting.
c. Post a copy of your answers to Net Neutrality items a and b as described above to the Assignment 12 Activity 1 Discussion board.
d. Reply to at least one of your classmates’ postings explaining what you found useful or interesting from their review.
