APPLIED HEALTHCARE MANAGEMENT ASSIGNMENT INSTRUCTIONS
OVERVIEW
There are various types of healthcare organizations. Most of these facilities can be categorized
into either a direct or non-direct organization. Additionally, it requires a qualified healthcare
administrator to effectively manage the organization in order to achieve its mission. The role of
the healthcare administrator requires a unique set of knowledge, skills, and abilities.
INSTRUCTIONS
Identify a direct and non-direct healthcare facility. Compare/contrast organizational structure,
missions, and roles of the healthcare administrators in each facility.
