09 Nov The Illusion of Consciousness

1. Select the article or TED Talk video you want to use for your critical response.
2. Read the article/watch the video a couple of times, taking notes for yourself.
3. Pick 3-4 parts of the article/video that stand out to you. Looking at the Critical Response PPT for guidance, how can you critically respond to these parts of the article/video? Your critical response to these parts will become your topic sentences (main ideas) for the paragraphs of your Essay 1 letter.
4. For this outline assignment, include your topic sentences for each paragraph you plan to write. Also, include three direct quotes from the article/video underneath their corresponding topic sentences.
5. Also, include the MLA citation for this article or video. The citation is more than a url address; it gives the author, title, website, etc. If needed, I will help us to correct mistakes in citations.
