Assignment: The literature review is based on causes+ consequences of homelessness. So please find 8 academic sources that relate to the topic then conduct your literature review.
1. To conduct your literature review you need 8 academic sources. Peer-reviewed journals are academic sources; non-academic sources such as government reports and policies may also be used after meeting the minimum criteria for academic sources. Popular media reports from Tv, radio, or magazines are not acceptable as reputable sources with a scientific basis. Therefore, do not include them in the literature review. This includes CNN, Nightline, 60 Minutes, Newsweek, TIME, etc..
2. You must review empirical research studies. That is, the majority of your articles should be research studies with data, not theoretical perspectives or conceptual articles. You may use ONE that is NOT an empirical research article.
3. Write a summary for EACH ARTICLE. A good summary should include the following points.
a. The problem being addressed
b. The central purpose of the study
c. Briefly state information about the sample, population, or participants
d. KEY results that relate to the study
e. How does the article contribute to your understanding of the problem
f. Any technical issues
4. After identifying and summarizing the articles, conclude the assignment with a synopsis that synthesizes the literature. This is the actual literate review. Use the following tips to write the review:
a. Do not provide a sequential summary of the articles. Do not start a sentence with "one article that I found". This is formal research instead use phrases "Previous research shoes"
