Just because an organization is registered as a non-profit, or a socially innovative business, does not mean that it is immune to a breach of ethics.
Conduct your own "digging," or research. Locate valid / respected sources (at least two) and answer the below questions:
1. What are three ethical dilemmas facing non-profits?
2. Detail one recent (2021 or 2020) ethics scandal that plagued a non-profit.
The goal of this exercise is to keep you vigilant. Whether you are donating to a non-profit or socially innovative business, or choose to work for one, your ethics radar needs to be firmly in place.
