Reading reflections should be about 1 single-spaced page (2-3 paragraphs) and should do two things:

1. a)  Briefly summarize the readings main point(s).

2. b)  Identify a one- or two-sentence passage that stood out to you (e.g. as interesting, as important, as confusing, or as related to something else that has come up in this or another course). Include that passage (including a parenthetical citation (Author, page)), and then briefly explain your interpretation of it and why it stood out.
