Find and print out the mission/vision statement of an organization operating in your field of interest.
Assess the mission based on the principles of mission/vision covered in the first session.
Write a 1-page memo (1) describing the strengths and weaknesses of the mission, and then (2) proposing (i.e. writing) a revised mission statement, taking into account the concept covered in the readings and lessons in class.
