This book was written in 1964. See if you connect to any of the ideas McLuhan writes and theorizes about. He came up with a lot of terms we still use to this day.
Marshall McLuhan was at the forefront of Media Theory. Though the 60s and early 70s he became a strange almost pop social science icon. He was like Neil Degrasse Tyson if Neil Degrasse Tyson studied media and not the stars. He wrote for and was interviewed in all kinds of publications, had a tv show, and a cameo as himself in a movie.
