The research paper that is at least two full pages in length. Your paper will summarize the overall/general use of High Tech AAC Devices. Write about High Tech AAC Devices in general, don’t make the essay about a specific High Tech AAC Device.
Your research must include at least five scholarly sources, three of which must be from recent work (2015 – present). You may have other, non-scholarly sources in addition to these five. Your paper must be formatted in Times New Roman, 1 inch margins, 1.0 spacing. Your paper must follow the format underneath:Technology Overview, Functionality and Procedures, Resources Available, and Reflection.

Technology Overview:
Describe the technology you chose. What purpose does it serve and for whom? Be thorough in your explanation.
Is the technology you chose a new development or does it have a lengthy history? Describe its evolution in detail.
Discuss notable prior research that lead to the development of your technology.
Functionality and Procedures:
Describe the functions of the technology you chose. This is the what the technology does aspect of your explanation. In other words – what does your technology accomplish/provide?
Describe the procedures of the technology you chose. This is the how the technology does what it does aspect of your explanation. For this part, you should be explaining the more detailed execution of the technology (i.e. platforms (desktop, mobile, tablet, other device) operating systems (MacOS, iOS, Windows, Android, Linux, etc.), code (python, R, C++, Javascript etc.), and any other relevant technologies) and how it functions to make your technology work.
Both of these points should be detailed and make up the bulk of your paper.
Resources Available:
What resources are available for those who wish to learn more about or use your technology? Provide a detailed overview.
Are there any organizations or foundations that promote the education and/or use of the technology you chose?
What funding (if any) is available for the research of the technology? Is it public (government funded via grants) or private (company funded, crowd-sourced, or a venture project)?
What further research is being done on the technology you chose? What are the aspirations for the future of its field? What tasks do you expect your technology to be able to accomplish in the future?
Reflection:
Why did you choose this technology and what are your personal thoughts on it? Is this technology something you might consider pursuing in your career? If so, how might you be able to learn more and become involved?
What education/experience is required for a career working with the technology you chose?
Are there any resources at Montclair State that you could join/use/apply to in order to gain this education/experience?
