In this unit, the importance of finding quality evidence is covered. There are many sources of evidence, but some of it is fake news. Consider how you might discuss evidence in your workplace with your co-workers.
Please complete the following steps for your discussion post.
- If a peer shared an article with you and you found that it was not from a peer-reviewed source, what would your approach be?
- If the article was not current, what would your approach be? Why is a basic understanding of evidence-based research appraisal important to nursing?
- Discuss how you would summarize your understanding of how to appraise evidence for your co-workers.
