Students will write a scholarly summary of an assigned chapter(s) and be expected to create a summary sheet of their assigned chapter. This can be presented in a PowerPoint platform, or in an outlined/bulleted list. A video or audio recording must accompany this summary, explaining the critical concepts that are explained in this chapter. This is a group assignment.
Example of an appropriate summary include bulleted list of information gathered from the assigned reading, or a PowerPoint outline. What is NOT appropriate is photocopies of the text, or book reports.
Please coordinate with one another to ensure that you are able to complete the assignment as a group. When creating a video or audio presentation, please connect with one another to determine which is the best way to do this. Hint: students have used formats such as Zoom, FaceTime, Skype, etc., to capture video. Others have used voice recordings and then uploaded them to capture audio.
