The greatest compliment I received from a student was the young man said, “Mr. Quinn, your class is like a game show.” This was from a student in a tough school in Baltimore City in a low socio-economic area where discipline in the school was very lacking. I used humor, visuals, and a lot of student participation, just like a game show. What do you use in your classroom to capture student engagement or would you like to use?
