Please address the following topics in essay format. Then respond to your classmates.
1. What is the purpose/mission of Childline? How was the opportunity identified by Jeroo Billimoria? What technologies have they adopted or are they thinking of adopting and why do they contribute to the opportunity?
2. Childline will not open a franchise in a new city without commitments from certain partners. Who are they? With what other types of organizations does this enterprise collaborate/partner? Why does Jeroo say this is critical for exponential growth?
3. What are the sources of income/revenues for Childline? First, identify the categories and importance (fee income, government funding, private donations). Then, discuss the stage of Childline’s relationships with at least two partners (philanthropic, transactional, integration). How do you know that the stage applies. How important are charitable donations from individuals? Foundations? Bequests? Corporations?
4. Discuss the volunteers for Childline. Who are they? How are they recruited and retained?
5. What is the most interesting part of this case for you?
