This is an individual assignment that was constructed by UOP. It has been a part of this class for years and has worked out just well.
You are a leader in a global organization and have been asked to make a presentation to the board of directors about the importance of a diversity-conscious organization.
You will submit two items:
1. PowerPoint in PowerPoint and not a PDF.
2. Word Doc with your speaker’s notes.
This is the same formatting as the Team PowerPoint (PP).
**Please do NOT submit a PDF.
Create an 9- to 10-slide Microsoft® PowerPoint® presentation, including the title and reference slides.
Identify the following:
The characteristics of diversity-conscious leaders
How technological changes influence diversity in leadership
How to improve diversity consciousness within the workplace (Note: Offer specific steps/strategies for improvement.)
Your PowerPoint (PP) will include:
Title slide – Come up with a good title.
On the first slide – welcome your audience.
Introduction slide with the 3 or 4 points.
Body of your PP which offers more information on the 3 or 4 points including references.
You will include research to substantiate your points.
At least 5 images or graphics.
At least 5 scholarly or credible sources cited both in-text and on a separate slide in APA formatting.
Speaker’s notes which will make up much of the content your PP. It is worth 30%. They will be one to two paragraphs or more and include your references.
Include a concluding slide with a list of reference materials used from the text or outside sources.
