Imagine that you have been selected to create the cover of next month’s issue of a major magazine. Think about what you would need to include to hook readers into grabbing this issue. To assist you in planning out the elements of your cover, take some time to research and analyze existing magazine covers. What do these covers include? Why did the publisher include them? Once you have conducted your research, create a mock-up of the cover for next month’s issue using images and text.
Along with the mock-up, provide a 2 page essay explaining how you followed the design process and how you feel your cover will attract the attention of the intended audience.
