Part 1- Even though they may both directly affect each other; you are unable to determine which is the cause and which is the effect (Myers & Hansen, 2012). Causal inferences are possible; however, under the best circumstances, they will not be definitive. 

Part 2: My hypothesis for my study is to discover the correlation between addiction and the correlation of addictive personality types. A questionnaire that was composed of neutral questions. With that information, two groups will be selected. One group will then receive leading information, and the other will receive the collected information from the first questionnaire and be asked to elaborate. To ensure that the hypothesis is professionally written and easy to understand, I will let two impartial individuals for their opinion.
