Abstract (1/2 – 1 page)
Summary of Purpose, Methods, Result, Conclusion
Introduction (atleast 1-2 page)
Information about the various sit and reach test.
Introduce/discuss what goniomete is and how it is used.
Background information on Flexibility, why is it important, and how can it effect peformance.
Purpose for conducting the various sit and reach test and well as using the goniometer for measuring ROM.
Methods (1-2 pages)
Step by step what was done. (As if you were explaining it to someone)
Equipment Used/ Participants.
Should be written in past tense and do not use I
Example: Participant was insturcted to perform a 5 minute dynamic warm up and so on……
Results (1page)
Put information into tables, Labeling in table1.
In this section do not summarize/explain your findings.
Example: the data collected for participan’s sit and reach testt and Range of motions measured at
presented below in table1.
Discussion (2 pages)
Explain the data presented in you results section and lab from
Answer questions from document on blackboard. Answer them in paragraph form (Actually questions do not
need to be put in the discussion)
What could have been some limitations or error in the lab experiment
