Scenario: You have been asked by the executive committee of your organization to prepare a report on the strategic implications of “ransomware” as a major security threat on your business (Your Local I.T. Nerds, LLC) in the next three years and how the cyber war with Russia is only raising the stakes. This report will be written with the intention of submitting it to an executive committee.
In this project we will aim to persuade to invest in upgrading their Information Technology security systems and protocols with the help of “Your Local I.T. Nerds, LLC.” Leveraging the unfortunate reality of the ever-increasing threat of hacker groups, specifically those backed by powerful and capable adversaries such as the Kremlin or Beijing, we look to inform of the very real risks they face in the modern day. We will also make it clear that with the growing amounts of sensitive personal information being handled by , it would be in everyone’s interest to keep the data secure.
