Write an essay in which you argue for Monsieur Meursault’s first-degree murder conviction and death sentence to be overturned, and for a new conviction and sentence that best fits the crime. To do this effectively:
Analyze the evidence that was used to convict him and find the holes in said evidence
Analyze the claims made against him and find the fallacies in said claims
Analyze his character and provide your own interpretation of said character
Analyze the circumstance in which the crime took place and provide your own interpretation of the influence it had on Meursault
