25 May Good Faith Exception

Discuss and analyze separately first the pros, and then the cons, of the exception you are focusing on. You must, at minimum, discuss and analyze one pro and one con.
In your analysis, discuss the balance between the citizen’s individual liberties and 4th Amendment rights against society’s interest in policing bad behavior and punishing those who engage in criminal behavior.
Conclude with your personal position as to whether this exception is a positive or negative component of our criminal justice system.
