Provide an analysis of the social phenomenon of stigmas around mental illness in order to better understand human behavior. The analysis must be based in at least one of the following  techniques or modes of analysis: • Compare/Contrast (point-by-point or block style) • Causal Analysis (show causes and effects involved in the phenomenon’s appearance  and impact) • Future Orientation (show implications of the phenomenon’s persistence) • Statistical (show the significance of the phenomenon through quantitative research) • Descriptive and/or Narrative (show the significance of the phenomenon through  qualitative research) • Socio-historical analysis (demonstrate through a historical analysis of the phenomenon  in our society and/or another society) • SWOT (show the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats of two different views of  the phenomenon) • Socio-political (demonstrate through past political actions and/or current suggested  political actions regarding the phenomenon)
