For extra credit in ANTH 114, you may choose 2 OF the following activities. To receive the points, you must submit a paragraph (roughly 5-7 sentences) write up about what you learned from the opportunity and how you see it relating to what we have discussed in the course or anthropology in general. On Blackboard in the Extra Credit folder, you will find a submission link to turn in your write-ups.
1. Coronavirus Coverage from National Geographic: You may read and respond to one of the articles posted on National Geographic.
2. You’re required to watch one film from a list that I provided and respond to it for ANTH 114. For extra credit, you may do a write-up on a different film from the list I gave you, not the one you chose for your assignment. Reminder: the list is in the instructions for the Film Response. Choose one of the following films:

3. Visit the COVID-19 Forum on Somatosphere, “A collaborative website covering the intersections of medical anthropology, science and technology studies, cultural psychiatry, psychology and bioethics.” You may read and respond to one of the pieces posted in the forum.
4. You may read The power of bingo during COVID-19 or Those Who Come Early through “The Age of COVID-19 Series” on the website of the Association for Anthropology, Aging, and the Life Course (AAGE).
