You’ve had a chance to watch both parts of the HBO documentary film about Muhammad Ali, What’s My Name. I also write about him in Muslims and the Making of America. For this discussion (again of about 250 words), talk about what you learned in the film about Ali’s life and his importance, both particularly in the sport of boxing, and more generally in the world because of the life that he lived. In 2022, with discussion across America about Black Lives Matter, what do you think of Ali’s legacy/relevance today?
