These are some questions you can use to frame your narrative (you shouldn’t answer these questions but use them to reflect on your own literacy process):
1. How did you learn to write and/or read?
2. What kinds of writing/reading have you done in the past?
3. How much have you enjoyed the various kinds of writing/reading you’ve done?
4. What are particularly vivid memories that you have of reading, writing, or activities that involved them?
5. What is your earliest memory of reading and of writing?
6. What sense did you get, as you were learning to read and write, of the value of reading and writing, and where did that sense come from?
