BMGT 2331 Individual Project (Spring 22)

Read and review the key points of chapter 22 Implementing Total Quality Management. Then find the Critical Thinking Activities on p. 419. Read #1 for background on the E-Z Open Manufacturing Company (do not develop the documents). Read #2 and answer the question “What would you have the company do?” Read #3 and use your place of work (or any previous place of work) to answer the question “How does (or could) TQM benefit it in general, and in particular, what improvement would you expect from following the 20-step implementation process?” Finally, read #4 and use TCC as the model – how could TQM benefit the college and students? Include specific areas for improvement.

Each student working independently will write a 3 – 5 page report that answers questions 2, 3, and 4 from chapter 22’s Critical Thinking Activity.

The main source is the textbook and include it in a Works Cited page. You can choose to research and use other sources, as needed. Make sure to cite the sources (use in-text citations). Use the standard MLA format for the report. Double-space with 12-pt. Times New Roman font, and 1” margins. Submit the document in Word or PDF.

The report is an individual effort worth 200 points (20%) of the final grade.
