What is an Annotated Bibliography

An annotated bibliography is a collection of articles, journals, books, etc. based on a topic. You list the MLA citations (in alphabetical order) and after each one, write one or two paragraphs about the article. In your annotation, briefly summarize the article (the main points), assess the article (is it a reliable source?), and most importantly, reflect on the article (how useful would it be for your research.
