After reading Plato’s Allegory of the Cave and watching Seth Godin’s TED talk “This is Broken,” critically reflect upon the intersection between these two sources as it relates to Organizational Development and Change Management. For example, how do people handle change and new information?
Building upon your reflection on these materials, please answer the following: As an external Organizational Development consultant for an organization that wanted to implement a change, what would be two questions that you would ask your client when they first hired you? The questions should provide you with the necessary information to understand the client’s needs, help you assess the organization, and help shape your next steps in managing an effectively planned change initiative.
