In the health work field, nurses in particular assume a submissive role when it comes to their ranking in a healthcare facility. In other words, they are often undermined for their efforts by receiving an unfair compensation when it is balanced with the massive amount of workload at life-risking moments while also the pressure of treating every patient to the best of their ability. In actuality, this profession requires multiple skills which involve both medical knowledge and interpersonal connections. It is clear that a nurse is more than qualified to obtain a leader position in policy making issues.
