Overview
Effective leadership is a by-product of an intense commitment to a purpose which is grounded in the leader’s values. The interplay between values, purpose, work-related motivation, burnout, and the ethical foundations of leadership will be explored. Those principles will be compared to the American Nurses Association (ANA) Code of Ethics.
