12 Aug Find at least three examples of similar campaigns at other schools
You will work with your alumni mentor for this case study. They will play the role of a potential donor at the University of Kansas.
1. Your goal is to create and raise funds for an individual sport at KU that is NOT men’s basketball or football.
2. Select a sport and develop a campaign with the following components:
a. Find at least three examples of similar campaigns at other schools
b. Campaign goal – both in what you’re hoping to accomplish and overall money you aim to raise (i.e. create an endowed head coaching position, total fundraising goal of $2,000,000).
c. Use Adobe Spark to create (1) a social media graphic to announce the campaign, (2) a landing page for the campaign, and (3) a video to put out on social detailing the goals of the project and how to give.
3. After all this is completed, share it with your mentor as if they were a potential donor and schedule a Zoom call. During the call, pitch them your idea and materials and receive feedback from your mentor. You can either transcribe their feedback or simply submit a recording of the call if the mentor agrees for it to be recorded.
4. Make final changes to your materials based on their feedback and submit them by the due date.
