12 Aug Write a sample set of CORNELL NOTES
Write a sample set of CORNELL NOTES using a textbook from another class OR if you are not taking another class, take notes from an informative article or video on a topic that you would like to learn more about. It can be related to your major or not. Follow these steps to create the notes:
1. Pick a chapter or article to take notes on.
2. Divide your page into the three sections (please watch the videos, items 4.1 and 4.2 above)
3. Read your source, and as you go, write down notes about things that seem important in the text. (headers can clue you into the chapter’s key points.)
4. Add questions as you go, or add them after you finish the notes.
5. Be sure to write a brief paragraph summary at the end of your notes.
