Letters of Advocacy. Students will write ONE email to be sent to their congressional representative and two state senators. This email should 1) introduce yourself as a SDSU public health student; 2) outline a particular concern of yours in health policy (state the issue and provide statistics with a reference on the magnitude of the problem); 3) provide a short statement of what should be done about it; 4) thank them for their time and consideration, and 5) sign the email. This is worth 15 points. You will upload to me the content of the email and three screen shots indicating you sent the email to all three of your legislators.
