Case study:
A 46 yr. old African American woman who was admitted through emergency department after she was found unresponsive by a friend. 911 was called and Pt. was brought to the emergency room. On assessment and examination, Pt was noted to be intoxicated on psychoactive substances. Pt was stabilized and transferred to medical surgical unit.
