1) Case Study Questions—Bradley (Ch 2)
Identify Bradley’s and his family members’ strengths. Write a possible collaborative problem-solving script for one of Bradley’s issues or challenges. Answer questions 1, 6, and 9 on pp 23-4.
2) Case Study Questions—Jeremy & Joshua (Ch 10)
Identify Jeremy’s and Joshua’s and their family members’ strengths. Refer back to the Collaborative Problem-solving video. Write a script for a collaborative problem-solving conversation between Jeremy and Joshua (two individual scripts) and one of their parents to come up with a possible solution for one of their behavior challenges or issues. Answer questions 1, 3, and 5 on p. 124.
3) Case Study Questions—Cindy (Ch 14)
Identify Cindy’s and her family members’ strengths. Think about the Ross Green video How Children Do Well If They Can. What is getting in the way of Cindy doing as well as she can? How would that influence your thoughts about your recommendations for Cindy and her family? Answer questions 5, 6, and 8 on pp 171-2.
4) Case Study Questions—Anna (Chapter 3) and Dustin (Chapter 4)
You must read Chapters 3 and 4 about Anna and Dustin, respectively. Decide whether you want to answer questions based on Anna or Dustin’s situation.

For Anna’s situation: Answer questions 1, 5, and 8 in Chapter 3, p. 36. Also write 1-2 paragraphs about how Anna’s cultural background can support her and be a strength for her. Identify 2-3 ways that racism and oppression could be contributing to Anna’s depression. What role might trauma play in Anna’s depression?
For Dustin’s situation: Answer questions 1, 2, and 5 on p. 48. What role might Dustin’s trauma be contributing to the challenges he currently has?
