Imagine that you were tasked with creating an App? What would your App do?How would it be different or better than other Apps already on the market?What would you call your App?Would you charge for your app or make it free so you could generate money from advertisements on your app (Explain).

The app I would create would involve utilizing artificial intelligence, in conjunction with live helpful addiction specialists,to help people with various addictions. There are other addiction apps on the market, but they all depend on either live help, which may not be available twenty-four hours a day, or pre-made responses. This addiction app would combine the power of real, live addiction counselors, plus help from artificial intelligence. When a user open the app, AI would monitor how much time is spent on there, what sections they go to, searches, plus any pre-recorded videos are watched. Also, A.A. or N.A. groups would be available on a regular basis in order to have a 24/7, online based support network that can connect someone to a sponsor to help in their time of greatest need. This app would be called “We Are Here For You,” emphasizing comforting support always when a recovering addict needs help the most. There would be no fees for the app, not even advertisements, since that would defeat its purpose. Instead, it would be funded by donations, as well as other non-profits that deal with addiction, and want to reach a wider audience through a mobile platform which many do not have the expertise for. Essentially, it would be supported by those who are most affected by addiction in its many forms and varieties.

My app would be a social media app that connects people based off of their music tastes. Based off of artists, songs, genres, and even labels that produce certain music you’d be connected to a community of people who listen to the same type of stuff. I would make it so it is compatible and even able to link up with Spotify, Amazon Music, Pandora, Apple Music, YouTube, and any other music outlet. You can also just manually design your account with your preferred music. The profile page will have a playlist playing while the page is being viewed similar to MySpace. And you can react to certain posts with song lyrics individually taken out of a song if that makes sense. For example, if someone updated their status with the words “I feel good!” We can have that song that goes “I feel good! Duh nuh nuh nuh nuh nuh nuh I knew that I would now” play when someone reacted to it. It sounds complex but it’s still in early developmental stages hahaha. The name of my app would be called AWEDIO. It would be free because I would want it to be available for everyone and maybe when it got much bigger I could even modify it and make it more customizable with advertising money. I think music is one of the most important things in life. It gives us a way to express ourselves and it helps us feel what others are expressing as well.
