In this module, you’ve become familiar with your first big chart type: the bar chart. Bar charts, including their stacked and grouped forms, can build a strong foundation for drawing insights from data. You’ve also learned a little bit about what motivates the use of data visualizations, including qualities that make for effective visualizations.
In this SkillBuilder, you will use Tableau to explore distributional statistics about the UNESCO World Heritage Center’s World Heritage List (Links to an external site.). The list includes sites around the world both natural and man-made that the WHC has deemed of high importance to humanity’s culture as a whole.
Data will be pre-connected. Work through the tasks on the Questions I and Questions II pages and double click each field to enter your answers. Once you’re done, save the modified workbook with a unique file name and submit it for grading.
