Write a 3-5 page paper describing your topic or person of interest. You must use at least one primary source in your paper and two to three secondary sources. You must cite your sources on your paper. If you don’t know how to do this, read the “Source and Citation Survival guide” and then contact me.
Use 12 point font, 1-inch margins, double spaced. You must turn your paper in by the due on the online assignment link. Be aware that the link will scan for originality through Turnitin. Any evidence of plagiarism will result in a zero on the paper. Make sure that you are using quotations and citing your source correctly. Use the Sources and Citation guide to make sure you are doing this properly.
You must include a works cited page, which lists all of your sources and follows MLA or Chicago style format.
Most importantly, we must know why your person or topic is significant to the theme of the course.
Please use the paper outline and the annotated bibliography you did earlier for me.
Research Presentation
For the Research Presentation, you need to make a video, slide presentation, etc. preferably with images. It can be as creative as you wish. Some students just do a slide presentation, others in the past have done a video, a poem, artwork, a song, a skit. It is totally up to you. It needs to be original work, 3-5 minutes in length, and be able to post a link.
This is what the professor posted, but please just do google slides of Sojourner Truth with images and everything you have learned about her.
