Creating Arts can be a way to reignite your imagination, stimulate your mind and improve your overall literacy well-being. Take time to think about what you have learned in this course about teaching reading across content areas. You will need an introduction explaining your thoughts on arts as literacy. Next you will create a piece of art that illustrates your key learnings from teaching Literacy to secondary students. Art means very different things to different people and you are encouraged to create art in a median most comfortable to you. The sky is the limit with this assignment in your artistry performance. You can add it to your blog page if you want. You have the freedom to define what “Arts” means to you and select your own medium, but in the event you are having problems the following below are suggestions you can use as ideas:
- Write a poem
- Create a photo collage
- Develop a web page (which could even be done in your own blog)
- Design an audio and/or video multimedia presentation
