Using the theme, nation-states and nationalism, argue for its centrality to world history, with a special focus on the period from the Age of Revolution to the present. The theme may or may not be the central theme in late modern world history, however, it must be of historical significance.
Supporting evidence must be at least 3 distinct historical examples. 2 case studies should come from different time periods and be in chronological order.
The period is from Age of Revolution to present day only.
