OSHA Inspection Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
For this assignment, assume you have been hired by Company XYZ as their safety manager. Your first task is to develop a standard operating procedure (SOP) for workers to follow if OSHA shows up at the workplace.
Your SOP should describe appropriate steps to take during a walk-through to identify hazards, reduce citations and penalties, and discuss employer’s rights during an on-site inspection.
Your SOP should be a minimum of three pages in length.
