Read modules 13-16, on development through the lifespan, with an emphasis development through early adulthood, AND Frankl pages 99-121 (stop at Logotherapy).  In the modules, pay particular attention to Piaget (cognitive development), Erikson (social/emotional development), and Kohlberg (moral development).  Be ready to discuss their different explanations on child development in class.

 

3. Read short article (in folder) on parenting, and the reference to Drs. Carl Rogers, of Madison fame, and Bandura about parenting and setting boundaries with unconditional self-acceptance and acceptance of children.
