Prior to beginning work on this presentation, spend time reviewing the resources you have collected and the feedback your instructor provided on previous assignments.
In this two-part final assignment, you will exhibit mastery of your ability to analyze the professional knowledge, skills, and standards that you have developed or enhanced in this course and synthesize the research and current topics that have been discussed over the past six weeks.
In previous weeks, you identified a social justice issue that has served as the focus of your advocacy work and final assignment. Now you will begin creating resources that can help you with taking action. Leading a change effort is most effective when there is buy-in from the necessary stakeholders. Using knowledge from each of the previous assignments, you will create and share a presentation that focuses on informing potential stakeholders. Creativity is key. You should share your content in a format that you feel is most impactful for your audience (outside of the classroom, papers are not recommended). If you need ideas, utilize your Week 6 guidance. You should plan for a 15- to 20-minute sharing period that includes the following:
In your final project, you must address the following content areas:
Introduction:
Identify the purpose of your presentation (your social justice issue)
Social Justice:
Defend the importance of fostering social justice, equity pedagogies, and culturally relevant teaching in early childhood settings.
Support your argument with content and examples from the research and literature you have examined in this course.
Remember your audience, avoid an overreliance on direct quotes in favor of paraphrasing information from your sources
Provide a contextual example for your audience to understand ways this concept could be integrated into your organization/environment.

Defend how innovative leadership, social justice, and 21st century learning are tied to professionalism in the field.

The Summative Part II: Social Justice Presentation final project
Must be the equivalent of a 15- to 20-minute presentation.
