Define the crime you selected and provide the criminal statute to include the legal definition for the state in which you live. 

Discuss the impact this particular crime may have on a victim. Apply one or more of the victimization theories you have learned about in this course to better support your stance. Identify and explain the resources and/or assistance programs available for these victims. In conclusion, state your opinion on what could be done to better assist victims of the crime you selected.
