Describe your experience with using Excel. Have you used it to collect data or analyze results? Have you entered values in a defined workbook or had to create your own spreadsheet? Have you used other spreadsheets like Numbers or Google Sheets?
Purpose: This module is to assess your familiarity and proficiency with Excel. It's also a good idea to know which of your colleagues is an Excel expert to contact when you need assistance.

I would say that I am proficient with Excel due to its prominence at my workplace and having taken the course BIS 163 to learn new skills and refresh old ones. I often use Excel to interpret sales data, create visuals, and maintain data history. These skills allow me to understand sales patterns, merchandise shrink, and guest satisfaction. Thus, I can present my understanding to my superiors to continue or revise our game plan efficiencies. I mostly enter values in established workbooks provided by my employer; I have modified or even made my workbooks catered to my personal preferences. I am familiar with what Google Sheets is but my experiences with it only go as far as inputting data, arithmetic equations, live collaboration, and making tables.

My experience with Excel has been limited. I took a BTECH course over 10+ years ago that hardly touched on the basis of Excel because they were touching on other Microsoft applications as well. I have not used it to collect data or analyze results on my own, however I do remember entering in values and creating a spreadsheet as required for my class. Because I took this class so long ago- I don't remember how to do it. I have never used Numbers, or Google Sheets. I will definitely be using my resources such as YouTube, and Google for answering how to properly enter in data in Excel along with any instructions that are provided in this program. My current position working with data, we do not use Excel as some other data positions do.

I used Excel when I took a statistics class to analyze results from a data that I collected . There were some of calculation method by using Excel instead of TI84 calculator in the class too. However, that was my first time using Excel to enter and analyze data. Also, I use Google spread sheets to enter some data with numbers at work.
