Imagine you could walk from the east coast shore of the United States, all the way to the west coast of Africa (red line in the picture below). What features would you encounter along the way?
Draw a quick sketch of what your traveled path might looks like and submit a picture of it to this discussion board by using the “insert->image” tool. This could be done electronically (on an ipad/tablet) as long as it is still a hand sketch. I don’t need a lot of visual detail here and I will not grade you solely on your artistic abilities. Just do your best to draw what your path might look like in terms of the terrain you would cross, elevation change, etc.
Additionally, include in your post a short explanation of what you think your pathway would look like. You are completing this assignment under the assumption that you have no prior knowledge of what the floor of the ocean looks like, so there are no right or wrong answers here! Let’s just see what you got!
