In a Linux environment, the most popular tool for debugging multithreaded software is called the GNU Debugger (GDB or gdb).
In a Windows environment, Microsoft’s Visual Studio is the most suitable tool to use. This short tutorial video shows how to debug multithreaded software by using gdb.
