Chapter 6 talks about how cultural messages are rooted in ordinary everyday activities such as obtaining and preparing food, bathing and dressing, caring for children and animals, socializing with friends, neighbors, and people who work together.  Below are a few books and stories that talks about differences. Choose one book and identify skills or information learned by the children in the story that would have more or less value in our culture.
