Imagine that you are designing an entertainment center for 2030. Consider other technology that may enhance your entertainment center, such as multiple USB ports and/or power access, perhaps a voice-activated Alexa, or built-in power protectors. What smart technology would you add to your entertainment center that is not currently available?
In your original post, answer the following:
- Design a custom entertainment center with all the items you would need for the perfect entertainment center. Discuss the changes from your original design (last week) and the reason behind the changes you made.
- Add a sketch of your redesign with the following views, including major dimensions (width, height, and depth):
- Front view.
- Right side view (must be horizontally aligned with front view on the right side).
- Top view (must be vertically aligned with front view on the top).
The pros of the Vintage TV Console Revamp include the fact that it is aesthetic, functional, and innovative. The design consists of nice lighting that illuminates the Vintage TV Console. The design is also innovative and thorough. It includes a radio and an on-and-off switch. When the radio button is switched on or off, the lights also go on or off. The radio button makes an excellent clicking sound when switched on—an LED light strip lights up the cubby inside of the TV. The cons of the design are the small size of the TV’s inside and the area that stores the radio.
If you had to redesign the entertainment center that you selected for your time period, what would you change in the design?
I would change the size of various parts and make the design simpler. I would also focus on the functions of the design over its features. Increasing the size of multiple components would make it easier to carry bigger radios and more glasses in the design. I would simplify the design by reducing the number of items to be stored and the number of buttons to be operated.

The redesign is better than others in the market because it allows for more space in various compartments. The design is also more straightforward to use than others in the market.
